Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company in Oakland, CA, is seeking an Expert Recruiter to own and lead recruitment for the Journey Line Worker Program and related classifications. You will manage a high volume of requisitions, develop strategic sourcing, and maintain strong relationships with hiring leaders in a regulated industry.

This hybrid role requires attendance at Candidate Dinners and Assessment days in Livermore, and occasional career events, with HQ located at the Oakland General Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 7 years of related recruiting experience.
• Experience coaching hiring leaders.
• Project management experience.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Data-driven with ability to pivot using insights to meet metrics.
• Knowledge of union recruiting processes including bidding, letters of agreements, contracts, testing, etc.
• Ability to lead specific assigned recruiting projects, programs and sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management at Director/Senior Director/VP level to provide guidance and consultation.
• Lead development and management of strategies and action plans for recruiting and sourcing needs.
• Monitor progress and success of strategies, plans and programs, and drive innovation.
• Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, and interactions for auditability.
• Partner with and/or lead project or program teams supporting recruiting plans and solutions.
• Determine when to partner with search firms or use external tools and resources.
• May lead cross-functional projects for the recruiting department impacting the People team.
• Research and advise management on industry and function best practices.
