Job summary

Hancock Whitney is seeking a recruiter to design and execute full-cycle recruitment across banking lines. You will build strong relationships with hiring managers, business partners, and candidates, driving sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified hires with a focus on diversity.

You will lead campus outreach and career fairs, coordinate interviews, and manage offers while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Strong communication and industry knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; PHR/SPHR preferred.
• 3+ years in recruiting or HR generalist function.
• Banking industry experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; Workday experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to develop creative recruitment strategies.
• Identify passive candidates through networking and multiple sourcing methods.
• Conduct thorough job specs with hiring managers to determine needs.
• Drive full-cycle recruiting from outreach through offers.
• Coordinate schedules and arrange manager interviews.
• Maintain applicant data in ATS and ensure timely accuracy.
• Negotiate and extend employment offers; onboard new hires.
• Recruit for multiple openings concurrently across lines of business.
• Represent organization at campus events and career fairs; travel may be required.
• Track events and use metrics to evaluate campus activity.
• Stay updated on employment law and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure documentation of recruitment process is compliant with laws.
