Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking a high-volume recruiter to own the full hiring lifecycle for driver roles, treating recruiting like a sales process. You will manage inbound and outbound outreach, build rapport quickly, and drive qualified applicants through to orientation with speed and discipline.

You will maintain ATS data, track metrics, and partner with Safety and Fleet teams to ensure smooth handoffs and reduce early turnover.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of high-volume recruiting, sales, or business development experience (transportation or driver recruiting preferred).
• Proven ability to hit aggressive targets in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Strong phone presence and the ability to build rapport quickly while managing high call volume.
• Natural closer mentality—comfortable creating urgency, handling objections, and driving decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hiring lifecycle like a sales process from first contact to orientation.
• Drive high-volume, high-intensity communication and follow-up with applicants.
• Maintain accurate ATS/CRM data in real time and monitor pipeline metrics.
• Coordinate clean handoffs with Safety, Orientation, and Fleet teams to reduce turnover.
