Job summary

Basesix in Huntsville, AL is seeking a skilled Recruiter to source and screen candidates across multiple disciplines, from trades to technical roles. You will coordinate interviews and manage candidate records throughout the process, ensuring a smooth, professional experience for applicants.

You will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop accurate job descriptions, and promote Basesix's employee referral program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, construction, operations, technical, or field-based roles preferred.
• Experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates across multiple levels and disciplines.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person candidate screenings and interviews.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate the hiring process from initial contact through offer acceptance.
• Maintain candidate records, recruiting documentation, and applicant tracking systems.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce planning, and recruiting priorities.
• Develop a strong understanding of Basesix operations, project teams, and field positions to effectively identify and evaluate talent.
• Create and maintain job descriptions and track open positions across the company.
• Build relationships with colleges, trade schools, community organizations, and external recruiting partners.
• Manage and promote the Basesix Employee Referral Program.
• Support onboarding and retention initiatives in partnership with HR and hiring managers.
• Develop and improve recruiting processes, best practices, and talent acquisition programs.

• Ability and willingness to travel to office locations, jobsites and recruiting events as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Ability to travel to recruiting events, career fairs, Basesix offices, and community organizations as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
