Job summary

Basesix is actively seeking a recruiter to source and screen candidates and manage the hiring process from initial contact through offer acceptance. You will build relationships with managers and external partners, maintain candidate records, and promote referral programs.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in recruiting, strong communication, and the ability to travel to offices and events as needed. A HR/business degree is preferred, with experience across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, construction, operations, technical, or field-based positions preferred.
• Experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates across multiple levels and disciplines.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applications.
• Customer-service focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible, adaptable, and results-oriented.
• Ability and willingness to travel to office locations, jobsites and recruiting events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person candidate screenings and interviews.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate the hiring process from initial contact through offer acceptance.
• Maintain candidate records, recruiting documentation, and applicant tracking systems.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce planning, and recruiting priorities.
• Develop an understanding of Basesix operations to identify and evaluate talent.
• Create and maintain job descriptions and track open positions across the company.
• Build relationships with colleges, trade schools, and external recruiting partners.
• Manage and promote the Basesix Employee Referral Program.
• Support onboarding and retention initiatives with HR and hiring managers.
• Develop and improve recruiting processes, best practices, and talent acquisition programs.
