Job summary

Intersect Healthcare, Inc. seeks a dedicated Recreation Aide to implement daily and special programs for residents.

Full time shifts include 10:30am-7:00pm with every other weekend 10am-6pm, and you will support residents through familiar activities, provide encouragement, prompts, and hands-on assistance. Under the Recreation Director, you will lead group activities such as music, crafts, and exercise, coordinate with nursing and other staff, supervise volunteers, and help maintain accurate

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience working with senior groups or leading group activities preferred.
• Knowledge of arts and crafts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements recreation programs per the planned Monthly Calendar and as assigned by the Recreation Director.
• Lead group activities such as music, crafts, recreation, exercise, and other programs.
• Transports residents to and from programs and assists with community trips as scheduled.
• Maintains records of resident participation in group and one-on-one programs.
• Promotes the Volunteer Program by assisting in the orientation and training of volunteers.
