Job summary

Mission Point Health Care seeks a part-time Recreation Aide to implement engaging activities for residents under the Recreation Director. You will lead programs, assist with calendars, and help maintain participant records while promoting a positive, therapeutic environment.

You will interact with residents, volunteers, and staff, supporting daily living activities and ensuring safety and confidentiality in all tasks. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors or leading group activities preferred.
• Arts and crafts knowledge preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Implements Recreation Programs per the Monthly Calendar and under the Recreation Director.
• Assist in completion of the Recreation Calendar and Facility newsletter.
• Lead group and one-on-one activities, maintain charts and records.
• Promote volunteer programs and assist in training volunteers.
• Ensure resident safety, HIPAA confidentiality, and proper incident reporting.
