Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation, business, or public administration.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in specialized recreation program delivery.
• Minimum 5 years supervising part-time staff and volunteers.
• Experience supervising full-time staff preferred.
• Experience in policy development and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Program management: oversee facilitation of specialized recreation program planning and implementation.
• Budget management: develop and monitor annual program budgets; forecast funds and expenditures.
• Staff management: supervise 2 FTE, 1 LGRS, and multiple part-time staff/volunteers.
• Policy development: review and implement policies; ensure ADA compliance and best practices.
• Training and outreach: determine training needs, develop curriculum, coordinate external trainings; enhance community visibility.
