Job summary

The City of Fort Collins is seeking a Sr Coordinator, Recreation (Fitness) to help lead fitness operations across multiple centers. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating trainers and classes, and ensuring clean, safe facilities with excellent customer service.

Hours vary with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position requires an experienced fitness professional and supervisory experience, with a Monday–Friday work pattern typical in this role.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, schedules, instructs and/or supervises recreational activities, classes, and events.
• Coordinate, monitors, and manages staff scheduling as it pertains to specific area of coordination.
• Assist in coordination of publication of programs, services, and special events.
• Recruit, train and schedule volunteers that assist in assigned program area.
• Evaluates effectiveness of recreation area, facilities, marketing, instructors, and services.
• Prepares program budgets; tracks and monitors revenues; authorizes expenditures of department funds and the maintenance of department records.
