Hagerty Consulting, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Recovery Senior Managing Associate to lead operations within the Recovery division for upcoming Public Assistance initiatives. This proposal-based role requires collaboration with leadership, strategic planning, and managing key functions.

The position involves leading client engagements, coordinating with local governments and nonprofits, and ensuring compliance with FEMA PA/IA policies. Travel may be required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of experience in a relevant field, or 10+ years substituted for degree.
• Minimum 4 years in FEMA PA and/or IA programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to drafting guidance to clients on FEMA PA/IA costs and activities.
• Provide FEMA policy subject matter expertise to inform client decisions.
• Support local governments and private non-profits with disaster recovery.
• Guide clients through administrative and policy challenges in recovery projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
• Lead program teams or recovery engagements from an operational/administrative perspective.
