Job summary

FSA Federal, a provider of support services to law enforcement, is recruiting for a Supervisory Records Examiner/Analyst to support the ATF in Washington, DC. The role supervises staff, analyzes data from multiple sources, and ensures timely delivery of quality work.

The position requires supervisory experience, strong legal/office IT skills, and U.S. citizenship with a long background check. Candidates may be located in DC, PA, NY, or MD offices, with on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or project management experience should be demonstrated.
• Working knowledge of the legal system, legal research procedures, and research tools.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills; familiarity with databases is a plus.
• Leads by example and maintains professionalism under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality work and customer service.
• U.S. Citizenship and successful background investigation (7 or 10 year) required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes data from multiple sources.
• Supervises subordinate staff and coordinates with support components to meet task orders and quality goals.
• Monitors workflow to ensure timely delivery and compliance with requirements.
• Develops procedures to troubleshoot workflow and improve quality and timeliness.
• Tracks and manages case files, exhibits, and related material.
• Performs complex technical and factual research.
• Keeps leadership updated on status and plans; provides required reports on schedule.
• Manages personnel according to contract and company policies, including leave, timesheets, and evaluations.
• Addresses conduct and performance issues with senior management and HCM.
