Job summary

Carvana is seeking a capable operations leader to oversee multiple reconditioning lines within the Inspection & Reconditioning Center. You will plan production for full shifts, manage facilities to hit targets in production, cost, and quality, and work with site leadership to remove bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to lead a large team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading a large team (50+).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when the GM is offsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and develop action plans with site leadership.
• Conduct weekly site performance reviews and report on performance vs. targets.
• Guide daily site manager huddles to set priorities and tone.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects across the region and train staff on process changes.
• Provide development feedback to Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations.
• Uphold Carvana operating standards and health, safety, and loss prevention guidelines.
