Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of relevant experience in reconciliation or accounting, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-7 years of directly relevant reconciliation, accounting, or audit work experience, mortgage or title insurance industry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and demonstrate the ability to learn custom applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with financial software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Compare escrow accounting records and ledgers for accuracy
• Identify discrepancies between financial sources
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with clients
