The Trust Associate role supports the day-to-day management of trust accounts, assists Trust Officers, and helps ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliant operations while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of trust administrative experience.
• Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level.

Responsibilities

• Provides a wide range of support within the Trust department.
• Performs clerical tasks related to the administration of trust accounts for which the institution acts as trustee, depositor or agent.
• Assists Trust Officers on less sensitive accounts or specific assets within accounts.
• Makes recommendations to administrators and officers regarding issues.
• Assists in the preparation of court appearances and audits.
• Assures file documentation is maintained and current.
• Follows functional area’s processes and procedures in daily activities, troubleshoots as needed and recommends suggestions for continuous improvements to overall operations.
• Actively contributes to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives.
