Cooper Machinery Services seeks a Senior Equipment Analyst to serve as the senior technical authority in Field Operations for reciprocating engines and compressors. You will diagnose complex data, travel to customer sites, and deliver actionable recommendations to optimize performance and emissions compliance.

You will mentor and train junior analysts, standardize analytic practices, and collaborate with Engineering, Technical Support, and Sales to manage high-visibility accounts.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred in electronics, mechanical or instrumentation technology.
• 5–7 years as Engine Analyst with independent, expert-level analysis.
• Expert understanding of machinery components, condition analysis, and performance evaluation for compressors and engines.
• Experience with compressor valve analysis, engine balancing, ultrasonic analysis, and AFR control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior technical resource for reciprocating engine and compressor analysis, guiding complex issues.
• Perform advanced equipment analysis using instrumentation and data, developing reports with clear recommendations.
• Travel to customer sites to collect data, interpret findings, and deliver diagnostic conclusions.
• Participate in commissioning, tuning, and optimization of engines including AFR control systems.
• Review and approve analysis reports, ensure compliance with Cooper standards.
• Develop standardized report-writing practices and technical documentation for the team.
• Mentor entry- and mid-level Equipment Analysts through formal training.
