Cooper Machinery Services seeks a Senior Reciprocating Equipment Analyst (Maintenance) to serve as a senior technical resource for reciprocating engine and compressor analysis. You will interpret complex data, provide corrective recommendations, and mentor junior analysts while traveling to customer sites for advanced diagnostics.

You will help socialize standardized reporting and contribute to the ongoing improvement of analytical practices within Field Operations, supporting emissions

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of Engine Analyst experience on low-speed units and high-speed engines.
• Expert understanding of machinery components for compressors and engines.
• Advanced knowledge of compressor valve analysis.
• Experience with engine balancing and ultrasonic/FFT vibration analysis.
• Experience commissioning, tuning, or optimizing engines and AFR control systems.
• Experience portable emissions testing.
• Ability to train and mentor others.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the senior technical resource for engine and compressor analysis.
• Perform advanced equipment analysis using instrumentation and data.
• Travel to customer sites to collect data and develop reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Participate in commissioning, tuning, and optimization of engines and AFR control systems.
• Review analysis reports for technical accuracy and alignment with Cooper standards.
• Develop standardized report-writing practices and technical documentation.
• Train and mentor entry- and mid-level Equipment Analysts.
