Job summary

IonQ in Bothell, WA seeks a Senior Receiving Inspector to join the Quality team. You will lead daily inspections of parts and assemblies, ensure conformance to GD&T and IPC standards, and own MRB-related nonconforming material actions. The role balances technical inspection with guidance to frontline staff.

As a senior resource, you will allocate work, uphold ISO/AS standards, and drive quality under production pressure. The position is base+bonus+equity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 6+ years in a regulated environment.
• Experience in PCBA inspection to IPC-A-610 requirements.
• Experience with MRB/NCR processes and nonconforming material handling.
• Experience with QMS or ERP nonconformance modules.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of incoming parts, in-process production, and final release of finished goods.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and PCBA components against specs and PO requirements.
• Interpret GD&T callouts and convert to inspection plans and acceptance criteria.
• Apply sampling plans and adjust sample size based on quality data.
• Operate CMM, OMM, or vision systems and support calibration schedules.
• Contain and quarantine nonconforming material and maintain traceability.
• Create NCRs and present inspection evidence to MRB for disposition.
