Job summary

SQA Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Receiving Mechanical Quality Inspector to perform incoming and in-process inspections of precision mechanical components and assemblies.

The role requires a strong background in GD&T, mechanical inspection, and precision measurement. The successful candidate will verify conformance to engineering specifications, support MRB/NCR processes, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality assurance and mechanical inspection experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and ASME GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and calibrated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and in-process inspections of machined components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Utilize precision measurement tools and maintain calibration of equipment.
• Document inspection results and coordinate resolutions with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support MRB activities and NCR processes.
• Review vendor documentation including Certificates of Conformance and FAI reports.
• Record inspection results in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
