Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a senior Quality Inspector III to lead advanced dimensional, functional, and source inspections, including FAI per AS9102, in an AS9100 aerospace environment. You will mentor inspectors, develop inspection methods and work instructions, and coordinate with engineering, suppliers, and customers.

This role requires extensive GD&T expertise, CMM programming (PC-DMIS/Calypso), and proven leadership in MRB and RCCA activities, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• 6+ years of inspection experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• AS9102 FAI knowledge and MRB experience.
• Advanced GD&T interpretation per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience mentoring inspection staff and creating work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced dimensional, functional, and source inspections.
• Lead and verify FAI packages per AS9102.
• Interpret GD&T and resolve drawing questions with engineering.
• Develop CMM routines and inspection methods.
• Lead MRB and RCCA activities.
