Job summary

IonQ, Inc. in Bothell, WA is seeking a Senior Receiving Inspector to join our Quality team. You will lead inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished components against mechanical, electrical, and PCBA specifications.

You will own MRB containment, write NCRs, allocate daily inspection work, and guide less-experienced inspectors while upholding ISO 9001/AS9100 standards under production pressure.

Qualifications

• Reading complex technical drawings and datum structures per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience performing PCBA inspection to IPC-A-610 or equivalent.
• Familiarity with nonconformance, MRB, NCR processes and calibration routines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of incoming parts, in-process production, and final release of finished goods.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and PCBA components against approved specs and PO requirements.
• Interpret GD&T and convert callouts into inspection plans and acceptance criteria.
• Apply sampling plans to select sample sizes and adjust where data indicates risk.
• Use metrology gauges and program/operate CMM, OMM, or vision systems.
• Support calibration schedules and manage nonconforming material per MRB.
