OSI Engineering, a globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA, is seeking a Senior Keynote Shader & Effects Engineer who lives and breathes realtime graphics to own the shaders and visual effects powering our animation rendering engine.

You'll set the bar for effect quality and performance across the team, work in a highly-collaborative environment, and inspire millions of loyal customers.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write highly performant realtime graphics shader code.
• Strong grasp of the realtime rendering pipeline including rasterization and GPU/CPU synchronization.
• Translate high-level visuals into efficient shader implementations.
• Own a subsystem or feature end to end.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Metal experience strongly preferred; GLSL/Vulkan with GPU optimization considered.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, prototyping, and shipping new shader-driven visual effects for the Keynote animation engine.
• Collaborating with designers to translate creative direction into performant realtime effects.
• Writing and maintaining production-quality Metal shaders, optimized for silicon GPUs.
• Keeping up with the latest best practices in shader and realtime rendering research.
• Applying modern testing methodologies to a wide variety of effects across devices.
