Job summary

Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Principal Quantitative Scientist to lead Real-World Data (RWD) studies and drive evidence generation for digital health and IVD portfolios in oncology and other therapeutic areas.

You will design and execute complex analyses using diverse data sources (EHR, claims, omics) and present findings to regulatory and scientific stakeholders. A PhD or MSc in a quantitative field and 7+ years of leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of directly related experience with increasing levels of responsibility and independent scientific leadership.
• PhD (preferred) or Master’s in a quantitative science field (e.g. epidemiology, RWD biostatistics).
• Strong programming experience with R, Python, SQL and/or other quantitative software.
• Deep mastery of epidemiology and causal inference methodologies; able to defend methods to regulators and HTA bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead RWD strategy and end-to-end execution for complex studies.
• Develop RWD study protocols and independently lead analyses for regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with Product Leads and Medical Affairs to align RWD with commercial/regulatory needs.
• Mentor junior team members and promote state-of-the-art methodologies.
