Genentech seeks a RWD Scientist to generate insights from real-world data to inform clinical development and healthcare decision-making. You will design observational studies, contribute to data strategy, and collaborate across teams within Development and the broader Pharma organization.

You will work on data sources, apply methods, and help scale RWD implementations while upholding rigorous standards for regulatory readiness and scientific integrity.

Formación

• Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with healthcare or real-world data in applied research; or 0–2 years with advanced degree.
• Experience using statistical software (R, SAS, Python) for data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Design and run observational studies to inform clinical development, regulatory strategy and healthcare decision-making.
• Identify real-world data sources and assess feasibility under guidance.
• Apply observational study methods to interpret results.
• Develop expertise in advanced analytics and data handling methods.
• Work within guidelines to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in RWD methodology.
