Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in power systems or related field.
• Experience with real‑time simulation and HIL platforms such as RTDS, OPAL‑RT, Typhoon HIL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and analyze real-time power system models for grid integration.
• Maintain and optimize HIL test environments using RTDS, OPAL‑RT, and Typhoon HIL.
• Support interconnection and compliance activities by interpreting utility and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with global teams to validate model performance and communicate findings.
• Prepare modeling study reports and technical documentation for projects.
• Travel internationally on occasion to SMA headquarters and sites.
