Job summary

Proxops, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a large-scale Command & Control system servicing SLS/Orion spacecraft interfaces and the avionics stack. Qualifications

• Requires ten (10) years of relevant and progressive experience.
• BS degree in computer or system science, information technology, engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Recent experience with large-scale real-time systems within the last 10 years.
• Linux scripting experience and in-depth Linux OS knowledge.
• Experience with IBM AIX OS, system administration, and networking is desirable.
• Clonezilla and HP OpenView experience are desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows documented OSI build and test procedures.
• Troubleshoots and identifies script errors.
• Maintains/creates scripts to support OSI build process.
• Monitors the operation of assigned applications and diagnoses errors.
• Reviews requirements and designs, implements and documents new software.
• Assists with real-time troubleshooting, anomaly resolution and system recovery.
• Attends meetings and may present on supported applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
