Job summary

EPS Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and sustainment of real-time embedded software for mission-critical systems, including LCAC C4N-like environments. You will guide architecture, coding, testing, and integration efforts with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires at least eight years of experience, strong proficiency in C/C++, Java, and Python, and a track record of delivering reliable, secure software across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in computer or software engineering for systems similar in complexity to LCAC C4N or other mission-critical platforms.
• Proven experience designing and implementing real-time embedded software solutions.
• Experience testing and debugging software components, including execution profiling and runtime analysis.
• Experience integrating software units and components into complete, functional software systems.
• Industry certifications such as CSDP/CSEP – IEEE, CSSLP, or CSM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of real-time, embedded software-intensive solutions for complex systems.
• Develop software architectures and detailed designs aligned with requirements and constraints.
• Implement, test, and debug software components for reliability and performance.
• Analyze runtime behavior to identify and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and cybersecurity engineers for seamless integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices.
