Job summary

ATF in Minneapolis is seeking a Chief, Real Property Branch, to oversee real estate leasing and building operations and maintenance; lead staff, develop policies, and advance improvements in procedures and systems.

Responsibilities include setting performance standards, representing the Bureau in interagency meetings, and preparing budget requests and justifications for realty programs and contracts. This role is integral to ensuring efficient, compliant facilities management across the Bureau.

Qualifications

• Supervises staff relating to realty and building operations.
• Initiates and directs development of realty and building policies.
• Prepares financial reports, budget requests, and manages contracts.

Responsibilities

• Establishes performance standards and prepares performance evaluations of subordinate supervisors, and completes the full range of supervisory functions to plan and control work, reassign work, develop and appraise performance, and recommend promotions, awards, etc.
• Represents the Bureau as the facilities management authority in interagency, high-level Federal Government conferences and meetings.
• Conducts cost benefit analysis and prepares budget requests and budget justifications for the Branch and for centrally controlled items for the Bureau, and justifies and defends budget requests submitted.
