Job summary

ATF is seeking a Chief, Real Property Branch within the Property and Logistics Division, Office of Management. You will oversee real estate leasing, building operations and maintenance, and lead staff and programs to improve policies, plans, procedures, and systems across the bureau.

The role requires supervisory experience, development and defense of budgets, and representation in interagency meetings to ensure compliant, efficient federal facilities management.

Qualifications

• Supervises and provides leadership to staff related to realty and building operations.
• Initiates and directs development of realty and building operations policies and procedures.
• Prepares financial reports, budget requests, budget justifications, and manages contracts.

Responsibilities

• Establishes performance standards and prepares performance evaluations of subordinate supervisors, and completes the full range of supervisory functions to plan and control work, reassign work, develop and appraise performance, and recommend promotions, awards, etc.
• Represents the Bureau as the facilities management authority in interagency, high-level Federal Government conferences and meetings.
• Conducts cost benefit analysis and prepares budget requests and budget justifications for the Branch and for centrally controlled items for the Bureau, and justifies and defends budget requests submitted.
