Job summary

PGIM Real Estate, the real estate arm of Prudential Financial, is seeking a Senior Investment Associate for the Northeast Originations team in the Chicago area. You will guide multifamily and commercial real estate debt transactions through the origination and closing process, leveraging internal and external relationships.

You will train and supervise analysts, participate in pricing and underwriting, and coordinate with credit, risk, and legal teams to move deals to closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in commercial real estate lending.
• Strong credit and underwriting skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Officers in all aspects of origination and closing, including analysis, underwriting, debt structuring, pricing, presentations, due diligence, and closing.
• Engage in Core Plus transactions from screening to term sheets and investment committee materials.
• Oversee legal aspects of originations and closings.
• Develop regional market knowledge for the assigned geography.
• Support analysts and associates with closing and due diligence reviews and training.
