Job summary

PGIM Real Estate, the global asset management arm of Prudential, seeks a Senior Investment Associate for the Northeast Originations team in the Chicago area. You will facilitate multifamily and commercial real estate debt investments across multiple capital sources.

The role involves leading daily operations, training analysts, and guiding transactions from initial screening to closing, with exposure to Core Plus strategies and market activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in commercial real estate lending.
• Credit mindset with ability to review, structure and underwrite loans.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist origination and closing processes with underwriting, pricing and due diligence.
• Model and analyze deals, prepare term sheets and materials for Investment Committee.
• Develop knowledge of market region and PGIM systems (Salesforce, Omnia, Loan Connect).
• Lead and train analysts, review case files and ensure accuracy.
• Cultivate relationships with borrowers, intermediaries and advisors.
