Job summary

PGIM Real Estate, the real estate arm of Prudential Financial, Inc., seeks an Investment Associate for the Mid-Atlantic/Florida Loan Originations team based in Atlanta, GA. You will assist the loan officer in all origination steps for multifamily and commercial real estate debt across multiple capital sources.

The role requires 3–5+ years in real estate/finance, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or real estate preferred.
3-5+ years' experience in real estate or finance.
Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
Demonstrated interest in capital markets and commercial real estate.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
Credit mindset for underwriting loans and risk mitigation.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Copilot.

Responsibilities

Model financials to evaluate investment opportunities across core, core plus, and high yield.
Support all loan origination steps, including modeling, due diligence, memos, and closings.
Interface with brokers, property managers, joint venture partners, and legal counsel.
Provide analytical support: market research, cash flow modeling, property valuation, credit review.
Assist senior team with structuring, underwriting, closing, and asset management.
Interact with internal and external stakeholders including borrowers and rating agencies.
Develop expertise in PGIM systems (Salesforce, Omnia, Loan Connect).
