Jobot is a Southern California-based commercial real estate boutique law firm seeking an experienced commercial real estate litigator at the partner or senior associate level to join and help lead our busy litigation practice.

You will take a leading role in managing a portfolio of CRE litigation matters, develop strategy, supervise pleadings and discovery, and guide clients through complex disputes with a focus on practical, business-oriented outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5+ years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience.
• Experience at a highly regarded law firm or sophisticated real estate litigation practice.
• Experience independently managing complex litigation matters and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of California civil litigation practice and procedure.
• Experience with commercial landlord-tenant disputes and related real estate litigation.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop litigation strategy and exercise sound judgment with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational and matter-management skills, including multi-matter management.
• Experience supervising and mentoring attorneys, paralegals, and other litigation professionals.
• Membership in good standing with the California Bar.

Aufgaben

• Lead a busy portfolio of commercial real estate litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and provide practical, commercially focused advice to real estate clients.
• Handle complex disputes involving commercial leases, landlord-tenant relationships, and real estate ventures.
• Draft and supervise pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents.
• Manage all phases of discovery including depositions and expert discovery.
• Prepare for and handle mediations, arbitrations, hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Manage client relationships and advise on litigation strategy and broader business considerations.
