Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Counsel, Real Estate Development to support complex real estate development, construction, and infrastructure transactions across the company's U.S. data center portfolio. You will partner with Development, Construction, Data Center Operations, Finance, Tax, and Procurement to advance large-scale infra projects.

The role requires J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, active U.S.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience in real estate development, construction, and infra transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial real estate agreements.
• Experience handling title, survey, zoning, land use, permitting, utility, entitlement matters.
• Experience leading real estate due diligence and closings.
• Ability to manage outside counsel while balancing risk and business needs.
• Cross-functional collaboration with development, finance, operations, tax, and procurement.
• Strong judgment and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across all phases of commercial real estate development and infra projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements (purchase/sale, development, site control).
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction and infra agreements (design, eng., construction management, contractor).
• Advise on zoning, permitting, entitlement, land use, utilities and regulatory matters.
• Support transaction execution, due diligence, and closings.
• Advise on construction risk allocation, delays, indemnities, warranties, and dispute resolution.
• Partner with Development, Power, Operations, Finance, Tax, Procurement, and external stakeholders.
• Manage outside counsel and balance legal risk with business priorities.
• Develop scalable templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
