Job summary

Leading AM Law 100 firm in Washington, D.C. seeks a Real Estate Senior Associate or Counsel to join its growing Real Estate Practice Group. You will work on sophisticated, high-value real estate transactions and development projects across the United States, including data centre matters.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of U.S. real estate experience, strong drafting and analytical skills, experience with acquisitions, financings, leases and loan restructurings, and active DC Bar admission.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of U.S. real estate experience.
• Experience with acquisitions, financings, leases, dispositions and/or project development.
• Experience with loan restructurings.
• Excellent drafting, writing and analytical skills.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and strong work ethic.
• Active admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients on complex real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions.
• Handle commercial leasing, financings and loan restructurings.
• Work on data centre real estate transactions and development.
• Collaborate with the real estate team on nationally significant projects.
