Job summary

Hillwood Investment Properties in Dallas, Texas, seeks a Senior Accountant to join the fund accounting group. You will own accounting and reporting for development and operating properties from acquisition through disposition, including complex financing and investor reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting fundamentals, 2–3 years in real estate or fund accounting, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Public accounting, fund accounting, and/or commercial real estate accounting experience preferred.
• CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting and reporting for development and operating properties from acquisition through disposition.
• Close monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage property-level cash activity and capital calls.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, audits, and lender reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and oversee offshore resources.
