Job summary

Berkadia is hiring a Senior Real Estate Analyst in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on CRE finance, supporting multifamily mortgage banking and investment sales with hands-on due diligence, loan sizing, and closing-driven tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Affordable Housing Finance.
• Experience supporting deals from beginning to end.
• Extensive experience managing 5+ loans simultaneously.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Supports mortgage banking and investment sales professionals’ sourcing and execution of business.
• Leverages centralized resources including teams in Hyderabad, India.
• Analyzes commercial and multifamily real estate, including pro forma valuations and loan sizing.
• Prepares loan submissions, drafts memos, and tracks through internal systems (Salesforce).
• Leads deal processing from applications to closings.
• Reviews due diligence materials for real estate transactions.
• Assesses market data (rents, sales comps, cap rates, trends) to evaluate loan opportunities.
• Interfaces with owners, capital providers, vendors, consultants, and attorneys.
