Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Development Project Manager to lead major urban development initiatives in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will drive the full development lifecycle from site assessment to funding, design, construction, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Property Development or related field, with 10+ years in real estate development and a proven record delivering multimillion-Rand projects, plus strong

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Property Development or related field is required.
10+ years of progressive real estate development experience, with 5+ years in a senior PM role.
Track record of managing large-scale, multimillion Rand developments.
Strong knowledge of SA property development regulations and Eastern Cape market dynamics.
Excellent financial management, budgeting and risk assessment Skills.
Proven leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and execution of major real estate development projects.
Identify and evaluate development sites and opportunities.
Oversee financial feasibility, budgeting, and funding arrangements.
Manage end-to-end development process from design to construction.
Coordinate external consultants, contractors and service providers.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
Manage stakeholder relationships with authorities, investors and communities.
Mitigate risks and resolve complex project issues.
Contribute to the company’s development pipeline strategy.
