Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a senior real estate development leader to guide multi-phased market-rate and affordable projects from inception through lease-up. You will lead an in-house team and coordinate with financiers, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver on-time, on-budget developments.

Responsibilities include securing development opportunities, evaluating feasibility, and managing public-private partnerships, with a performance-based bonus program tied to results.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• At least four years of experience as an associate developer or equivalent position.
• Strong entrepreneurial instincts.
• Solid analytical skills.
• Documented well-rounded real estate background.
• Demonstrated ability to sell an idea through exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in delivering on-message PowerPoint presentations before groups.
• Interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Organizational skills with ability to set priorities and work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with high-energy leadership.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Travel capability with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identification and evaluation of real-estate development opportunities.
• Determination of the financial feasibility for viable projects.
• Determination of site suitability and development viability.
• Direct report to CFO for predevelopment expenditures and cash-flow needs.
• Drafting and finalizing multiple professional RFPs and RFQs.
• Establishing strong public-private partnerships.
• Delivering PowerPoint presentations to financiers, municipalities, and community groups.
• Developing realistic project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinating land-development approval processes.
• Leading the development team and coordinating with architects/engineers.
• Overseeing site control documents, loan and equity agreements.
• Collaborating with design professionals on proposed developments.
• Ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery and lease-up planning.
