Job summary

Pennrose is seeking an Associate Developer in Boston to support multi-project real estate development, from inception to lease-up. You will assist Developers and VPs, coordinating with financiers, architects, engineers, and contractors to drive feasibility, schedules, and budgets.

The role emphasizes financial acumen, accuracy, and strong written and oral communication. Travel to properties and outside meetings is required as part of development activities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Real Estate, or related field required.
• Master’s degree or 3+ years work experience required.
• Strong real-estate knowledge base.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in composing on-message PowerPoint presentations.
• Inter-personal skills and ability to work with others; responsive and thoughtful.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and prioritization with development teams.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling to determine project feasibility.
• Drafting, editing, and finalizing RFPs and RFQs under team guidance.
• Support building public-private partnerships and municipal communications.
• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for financiers, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate land-development approvals and architectural/engineering matters.
• Create realistic project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors and professionals on development needs.
• Assist with lease-up coordination and information flow on limiting criteria.
• Schedule and manage development meetings and maintain calendars.
• Comply with Pennrose Properties policies.
