Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Property Manager for an assigned apartment development(s) with broad management responsibilities. You will lead a site team, drive occupancy and rent collection, and ensure compliance with program requirements while providing exceptional resident service.

You will report to a Regional Property Manager and participate in Pennrose Academy training to advance professional development.

Qualifications

• Four years of increasing property management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of both affordable and market rate housing.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage rent increases, rent collections and the eviction process.
• Market the property to high standards and optimize curb appeal to convert applicant traffic/waitlists to residency.
• Understand program features to optimize financial/operational performance within affordable and market-rate housing.
• Proactively manage housing subsidy programs/relationships
• Manage accounts receivable/payable and cash to meet obligations
• Inspect the property daily and address maintenance needs with safety in mind
• Provide input to capital planning, budget processes, and cost-saving opportunities
• Onboard/train staff to be successful stewards of the properties
• Oversee work orders, preventive maintenance, turns and leasing within policy timelines
• Ensure compliance with insurances and risk management initiatives
