Job summary

JPMorganChase Commercial Real Estate in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Credit Originator to drive the new loan origination process for commercial real estate clients. You will apply deep CRE credit knowledge and manage complex loan opportunities, coordinating with underwriters, executives and counsel to deliver timely credit decisions.

The role requires 10+ years in commercial banking, CRE credit experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and BA/BA with MBA preferred.

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial banking/lending experience.
Hold a BA/BBA.
MBA is a nice-to-have.
Experience in Commercial Real Estate Credit.

Responsibilities

Evaluate new loan opportunities and drive strategic new business opportunities.
Collaborate with Client Executives on strategies.
Structure complex loans and coordinate the credit approval process.
Present loan proposals to senior management with clear rationale.
Review underwriting materials and risk ratings.
Prepare and negotiate term sheets and loan documentation.
Coordinate real estate closings and due diligence.
Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and policies.
