Job summary
JPMorganChase Commercial Real Estate is seeking a Senior Credit Originator to oversee the new loan origination process for commercial real estate clients, including construction and term loans secured by real estate. You will apply deep CRE credit knowledge and manage dynamic credit situations while leading effectively to optimize resources.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial banking/lending experience including credit, structuring, closing, and loan documentation
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate Credit
- Clear and diplomatic communication to senior management
- Strong relationship building with clients, counsel, and partners
- Significant accounting and finance knowledge with real estate fundamentals
- Strong analytical and business writing skills; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Hold a BA/BBA
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new loan opportunities and drive strategic new business opportunities
- Collaborate with Client Executives on client strategies
- Structure complex loans and coordinate credit approval with underwriters and executives
- Present loan proposals to senior management with clear rationale
- Review underwriting materials and risk ratings
- Prepare and negotiate term sheets and loan documentation
- Coordinate real estate closings and due diligence
- Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and policies
- Mentor/junior staff and manage personnel where applicable
