Job summary

Larson Maddox seeks a Senior Commercial Counsel to draft, review, and negotiate contracts that support site development, construction, and business operations. You will advise internal stakeholders on legal and business risks across real estate, compliance, governance, privacy, and employment.

Manage insurance programs and outside counsel, ensuring adherence to company policies. This role requires CA Bar membership (or ability to register in-house) and 5+ years of commercial contracting

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal experience with significant commercial contracting expertise.
• Active California Bar membership (or ability to promptly register as California in-house counsel).
• Experience supporting development, construction, land use, energy, utilities, or commercial real estate matters.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts supporting site development, construction, and business operations.
• Manage a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, supply, technology, marketing, and confidentiality agreements.
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and tracking processes for key obligations and renewals.
