Job summary

You will partner with Real Estate, Finance, Store Development, Facilities and executive teams to mitigate risk and drive strategic expansion across multi-location businesses.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in at least one US state.
• 10+ years of commercial real estate law experience.
• Experience supporting national retail, hospitality, or multi-location businesses preferred.
• Extensive background negotiating high-volume retail leases and real estate agreements.
• Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and land use matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and interpretation of commercial lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and related real estate contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction, and portfolio expansion.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Finance, Store Development, Facilities, and leadership teams to support growth.
• Evaluate legal risks and develop practical solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Manage outside counsel, brokers, landlords, and other external stakeholders through the transaction lifecycle.
• Advise on disputes, lease enforcement, and property-related operational concerns.
• Support due diligence, title/survey reviews, and land-use analyses.
