Fenix Development, Inc. in Culver City seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for office and retail properties. You will handle billing, tenant collections, and payables in Yardi, and support the general ledger and monthly financial reporting.

The role includes budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, quarterly consolidated statements, CAM reconciliations, and collaboration with asset managers.

Qualifications

• 5 years of real-estate accounting experience required (Yardi mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi software required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsabilités

• Process daily receipts, post payments, review payables, and update tenant billing.
• Close monthly books and prepare schedules supporting balance sheet and income.
• Record rental income, ancillary income, and reconcile cash receipts.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and amortize prepaid items.
• Maintain fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and manage security deposits.
• Record debt service, property taxes, and accruals for liabilities.
• Assist with annual audits and provide ad hoc financial analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for investors and lenders.
• Forecast income, expenses, and cash flow; perform quarterly consolidations.
• Manage CAM reconciliations and budgeting processes.
