Job summary

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA hiring a Senior Property Accountant to support property accounting for a mixed portfolio. You will reconcile tenant billing, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with Asset Management, Tax, Finance and Legal teams.

The role requires 4+ years of CRE accounting, Yardi proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time onsite position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
• 4+ years of commercial real estate property accounting experience.
• Experience with Yardi accounting software required.
• Strong MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tenant accounts for base rent and charges per lease; resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with tenants about billings and late payments.
• Prepare annual reconciliations of tenant operating and real estate tax escalations.
• Ensure timely processing of daily cash receipts.
• Prepare revenue/expense variance analysis quarterly.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for investors, lenders, and internal users.
• Compile year-end reporting packages for audits and liaise with related departments.
