Job summary

Glyphic Biotechnologies in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist to own the reagent lifecycle for its single-molecule proteome sequencing platform. You will formulate, characterize, and qualify reagents, ensuring lot-to-lot consistency and scalability within a fast-paced team.

The role emphasizes bench work, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration with the Assay Development team, SOPs, QC methods, and inventory management to support multi-cycle expansion runs.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS/BS with 4+ / 6+ / 8+ years of relevant experience for Senior Scientist, or 2+ / 4+ / 6+ for Scientist II.
• Bench experience in reagent development or analytical science with ability to set operating bounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead assay reagent development activities, including formulation and characterization for components used in single-molecule workflows.
• Develop, qualify, and transfer QC test methods and lot release criteria with cross-functional partners.
• Establish and maintain SOPs, inventory, and troubleshooting for end-to-end reagent workflows.
