Job summary

Neshent Technologies is seeking a senior frontend engineer to own the front-end architecture for large-scale web applications. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with UX/Product to translate designs into polished experiences.

You will set front-end standards, optimize performance, ensure accessibility and security, and partner with backend teams on GraphQL/REST APIs. On-site in New Jersey, you will shape DX and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering with front-end leadership.
• Expert-level React with hooks, composition, and concurrency patterns.
• Strong TypeScript skills and modern JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with front-end tooling and build pipelines.
• Advanced testing, accessibility, performance, and security focus.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted engineering tools for coding and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex, user-facing web apps using React + TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UX/Product to translate designs into polished experiences.
• Establish and evolve front-end standards, architecture, state, routing, and testing.
• Build with design systems and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Drive performance, optimization, and runtime observability.
• Implement advanced UI features, real-time updates, and robust forms.
• Ensure secure client-side patterns and collaborate on API contracts.
