Job summary

Neshent Technologies in Garfield, NJ is seeking a senior front-end engineer to lead web app development using React and TypeScript. You will own the front-end architecture and delivery, collaborating with UX and product to translate designs into polished experiences.

You will establish front-end standards, build with design systems, optimize performance, ensure accessibility, and partner with backend teams on GraphQL/REST integrations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience with front-end focus.
• Expert-level React proficiency (hooks, composition, context, concurrency patterns).
• Strong TypeScript skills (types-as-design, generics, strictness).
• Deep experience with modern front-end tooling: Vite/Webpack, Babel/SWC, npm/pnpm/yarn, monorepos, pipelines.
• Strong CSS skills: responsive design, CSS Modules/JS, theming.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex, user-facing web applications using React + TypeScript, owning the front-end architecture and delivery approach.
• Partner with UX/Product to translate designs into polished experiences and influence requirements considering feasibility, performance, and accessibility.
• Establish and evolve front-end standards: component architecture, state management, routing, conventions, testing practices.
• Build using design system foundations: theming, responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility.
• Drive performance and quality: Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, rendering strategies, caching, and observability.
• Implement advanced UI capabilities such as data visualization, real-time updates, offline patterns, and robust forms/workflows.
• Ensure secure client-side patterns: safe auth flows, token handling, secure storage, and vulnerability protection.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts (GraphQL/REST) and frontend-friendly patterns.
