Job summary

Nearform is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build applications using React and Python. You will work across projects, collaborating with distributed teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills, Python backend experience, and exposure to AI-native development. Remote-friendly with travel to US client sites as needed.

Qualifications

Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level (8+ years).
Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
Experience with Python backend development.
Experience with AI-native development practices and tools.
Understanding of AI and agentic workflows; interest in emerging LLM tech.
Experience delivering in an agile environment.
Experience with versioning controls (Git).
Testing experience across unit/integration/e2e; cloud and database familiarity.

Responsibilities

Designing and building applications using React and Python; lead technical delivery.
Support component design, development and maintenance with quality standards.
Define structured practices for source control, building and deployment.
Design and implement data storage solutions.
Optimize performance for speed and scalability.
Incorporate user/ client feedback to build solutions.
Analyze client requirements and propose solutions.
Collaborate with Technical Leaders and client teams.
